Meet Joe
A professor of pediatrics and internal medicine, "Dr. Joe” enjoys reading (particularly history), cycling, watching movies (his favorite is The Shack), and hanging out with the family—wife Kathryn and daughter Brianna, who attends the University of Chicago and is an accomplished harpist. Their favorite vacation spot is Sanibel Island. His most-liked books are The Book of Joy (conversations with Bishop Tutu and the Dalai Lama), and Guns, Germs, and Steel. Joe has been a vital resource for health-related concerns in the parish, including serving on the committee to assess safety around COVID. He directs the Colorado Adult and Teen Congenital Heart (CATCH) program at both Children's Hospital Colorado and University of Colorado Hospital.
